WHAT IS CALIBRATION?

​​Calibration is the process of bringing a vehicles’ ADAS back into OEM specifications. This is a necessary and important step during glass installation, especially for windshields with cameras attached.

The process of windshield installation moves the camera, and calibration ensures that the ADAS applications function properly and your vehicle has the same expected safety performance as when it was installed by the manufacturer.

WHAT IS ADAS? ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS

These systems rely on cameras, lasers, and radar with the camera typically mounted to the windshield. Any time a new windshield is installed, the camera must be calibrated to ensure proper functionality and restore the camera to OEM specifications.
